SILENT SILHOUETTE
Against the night I see your image--
One that was always so welcome to me.
I remember standing beside you--
Looking together at the moonbeams,
Talking, laughing, crying, loving, cherishing every minute that we shared.
But now I see you waving goodbye
With your arm stretched to the sky--
As if to grab a handful of stars to present to me to ease my pain-- But even with this gift of splendor,
What would I use to hide the dreams--
Dreams that will never come true
For this, you see, nothing will do!
Before you turn to walk away--out of my life--Please stay to see my farewell to you
As this lonely soul bids goodbye with a final kiss.So catch it now as it is thrown
And remember the love we've known
For there is no doubt--My life will have no more meaning.
But at night, I pray, both you and I can look forever to the sky
And behold our love's

Silent Silhouette!
